IMPROVES THE PERFORMANCE OF THE BOAT: Hydrofoil for Outboards can be attached to your outboard motor or stern drive to enchance the performance of the boat. Reduces chine-walking, porpoising, and cavitation. It increases speed, improves fuel efficiency, and reduce engine stress.

COMPATIBILITY: Designed to be installed on most types of boats that use outboard motors or stern drives. It Can be used with engines found in inflatables, smaller tenders, and Jon boats, as well as Mercury, Mariner, Yamaha, Johnson Evinrude, Honda, and Tohatsu outboards up to 50HP.

PLANE AT LOW SPEEDS: When your boat slows down, falling off of plane is inevitable, the design of this hydrofoil provides your boat greater stability and consistent planing at lower RPM.

INSTALLATION: 2-piece hydrofoil includes a left and a right hydrofoil wing. It comes with 4 pre-drilled mounting holes, 4 Stainless Steel Screws, 4 washers, and 4 pressure nuts. You will need an electric drill and Phillips head screwdriver for installation.

MARINE-GRADE MATERIAL: Made of high-strength black plastic UV-Resistant, Molded in two unbreakable pieces each foil is designed to flex independently to absorb shock.

I’m up on plane in half the time
Bought these to put on my outboard on my RIB dingy. Major improvement with how long it takes to get up on plane. Installed very easily. Seem to be constructed well and price was very reasonable.

Super easy to install, took 10 minutes and it was read to go. Wish it did come with a template but got it figures out. Hit the water and upbout of the pocket and no more cavitation!

Good (smaller) size and nice quality
The media could not be loaded. This is a nice hydrofoil for small motors, although if your cav plate is on the smaller side, you may need to shave it down a bit with a Dremel tool, otherwise the 1/4" holes you need to drill will be too close to the outer edge of the cav plate. A guy on Youtube shows how he did this for a similar style hydrofoil. The plastic that this hydrofoil is made out of is quite hard, so you'll need a Dremel tool on the more powerful side. I used a Dremel Multi-Max with a half-moon oscillating saw blade for wood/drywall. Took about 10 minutes to sculp. I then took my mini Dremel with a sanding wheel and cleaned everything up. After that, install was pretty quick. Lined everything up, marked the holes to be drilled with a silver sharpie, drilled small 5/32 holes first, then finished off the drilling with a 1/4" bit. I'm pleased with the result, now hopefully it will help deal with the planing and ventilation problems I'm having with an underpowered electric outboard on my 1444 welded Jon boat. We'll see. But that's my problem. I give this thing 5 stars for the quality, unique "gull wing" shape, and low-profile design that will minimize drag. UPDATE: Completely solved my ventilation problems. No more churning behind the transom. Got a nice clean rooster tail (see video), and I can now hit 9.2 mph by myself and between 7.5 and 8 mph with a passenger. Before I topped out at 6 mph (with a stiff wind behind me). Couldn't be more pleased with the hydrofoil.

These really work!
What a difference! Couldn’t take my 14’ Lund (25hp Merc) anywhere when I was by myself it stood straight up on the stern. Bolted these on in 15 mins and now it plains instantly. Best bang for your buck! 👍🏻👍🏻
